We couldn't be more thankful for the school Jacob attends, his teacher, his class and the responsible, truthful, fun and smart kid Jacob has become! At the end of October, they held their first Awards assembly and we were notified that he was going to receive an award at the assembly. Every student in the class will receive one award at some point during the year, so they give out 7 or 8 different awards at each assembly. However, they only give out 3 Student of the Month awards for the year and as I've heard from other moms, getting Student of the Month is a big deal because they get a license plate too! So, as you can see, Jacob was awarded Student of the Month!!! We are thankful he is an example of a good student in the class for the classmates and has stood out to his teacher from the beginning. He was super excited to get the award and we were able to explain to him the importance of humility and being a light of Christ and example that honors Him at school. Thankful for our little boy!
